As a Local Business Line Manager - General Industry, you will be responsible for leading the local business line: Sales and Engineering teams through delivering superior customer experience and related profitable growth with an aligned strategy, for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Korea. Reporting to the Local Division Manager, Robotics Korea (direct) and the Global Business Line Managing Director (dotted), you will execute the business strategy to agreed targets, taking overall responsibility for Business Line targets.

Your responsibilities

• Implementing the Global Business Line strategy and ensures business development and appropriate go-to-market strategy (channel, segment, and account) is in place. Providing input to Global Business line strategy
• Monitoring and addressing competitor strategy. Playing an active role in the local RA leadership team and contributes to broader business strategy
• Ensuring market needs are communicated to the product management team
• Ensuring the development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensures achievement through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed
• Ensuring the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results, and customer satisfaction
• Developing and leading an energized and motivated team culture, driving superior customer experience. Ensures effective deployment of personnel to meet the business needs
• Leading and ensuring effective governance of the LBL. Leading the ABB Code of Conduct internalization (HSSE, Integrity, Antitrust, and internal control) to ensure our License to Operate
• Leading LBL through empowerment and engagement across the teams and collaboration with other LBL. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies

Your background

• 10+ years’ experience of business in the Business Line segment
• Experience of sales management tools usage and deployment preferably salesforce
• Passion for customers, quality, and automation technology
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value proposition development
• Ability to coach, develop, lead and energize an organization. Balanced thought and people leadership
• A Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration preferred
• Fluency in English and effective professional communication skill
