Since our business is performed in South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, you would benefit from international/Asia experience where cross cultural communication skills are a must. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required, Japanese or Korean language skill is a big plus. Above all you have people and planet at heart, always leading by example as an ambassador for IKEA culture and values.
To Succeed As a Cluster Construction Manager, You Need
• Extensive experience at management level in large-scale retail and/or industrial real estate development, with consistent track record of successful projects delivered
• Proven skills in developing people and expertise in leading, coaching, and managing teams of project managers and engineers
• Academic degree in engineering or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent working experience
• Experience of different procurement and project delivery methods including contract development and negotiations, construction standards and global industry practices
• Ability to navigate the Ingka investment process, including stakeholder management and understanding of Ingka requirements and standards
