- Development of cleaning solution/etchant

- CMP/Slurry/Pad development

- Operate as part of a project team to develop new formulation products to meet customer process solution needs
- Meet technical project milestones and work with project/product managers to drive new products through the New Product Introduction (NPI) funnel
- Communicate effectively with customers in Korea and OOO partners around the globe
- Coordinate interactions with cross-functional teams such as Analytical, Applications, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales
- Develop innovative technology and create intellectual property on new products and ideas
- Develop new test methods to ensure product performance
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary
- Ability to travel up to 15%

- CMP/Slurry/Pad experience preferred

- At least 5 years of industrial R&D experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean, with an ability to develop and present technical materials to internal and external customers

- PhD or Master in chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or physical chemistry; strong candidates with a background in chemical engineering or materials science can also be considered

- Interfacial science or surface science knowledge and experience with respect to solid/liquid interactions; knowledge of surface chemistry, surfactants, formulation and/or polymers is a strong plus;

- DOE experience is a plus

- A significant publication record or a proven track record of developing intellectual property
