The Client
Our client is the Korean R&D Center for a multinational semiconductor equipment company. It specializes in the research and development of PECVD, CVD, and ALD machines which are used to produce semiconductor products. The company designs, develops, integrates, market, and services these advanced machines, which enables semiconductor companies to increase the functionality and efficiency of their manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities
· Apply sound engineering principles, product specifications, and research data to create designs for systems and products for CVD and PECVD machines
· Create and/or revise CAD models and detail drawings, ranging in complexity from simple piece parts to large assemblies
· Determine the feasibility of product proposals
· Resolve design issues based on technical inputs
· Develop systems for production and testing
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and relevant discipline. A Master’s or Ph.D. degree is an advantage
· At least 5+ years of prior work experience in the design of equipment hardware for deposition equipment including but not limited to vacuum chambers, vacuum pumping, wafer handling, and/or robotics
· Proficiency in the use of Creo CAD Software and/or similar
· Prior experience in PLM, machining, and/or manufacturing operations is a plus
· Knowledge and/or experience with FEA, ANSYS and/or ProE is a plus
· Able to work in a dynamic environment supporting global customers
· Average+ communications skills in one of the following: English, Japanese, Chinese
