Roles & Responsibilities :

 - Execute safety review and action plans for the major capex projects

- Supervise contractors to ensure safety, health and environment related to major projects.

- Maintain and improve safety performance related to projects

- Review and develop project plans to ensure optimum process & technology selection and 

  complete scope inclusion for achieving the business goal.

- Responsible for mechanical engineering, construction planning and budgeting for major project 

  to enable the creation of capital requests

- Responsible for execution of major CAPEX projects for Korea plants

- Control of project implementation to meet budget, schedule and deliverables

- Ensures projects are executed to agreed specifications and quality requirement as well as local 

  and/or international standard & regulation

- Applies appropriate project management tools to manage Capex projects

- Communicate project details clearly to insure understanding by project stakeholders as well as 

  alignment with plant and business goals

- Keep a high level of awareness of current and emerging technologies

- Closely work with global Corporate and regional engineering resources to ensure leverage of existing 

  knowledge and best practice

- Provide technical support to promote manufacturing excellence

- Prepare engineering standards, those are aligned to corporate standard/guideline, regarding mechanical 

  subject for Korea plants, and train plant engineers / operators and technicians

- Leads, develops, coaches and mentors team members and builds talent pipeline in the function.

Job Requirement :

 - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably food related industry

- Minimum of 2 years in project execution including engineering and construction

- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering area.

- Knowledge of food processing including corn wet milling / starch drying / starch modification / 

  refinery process and utilities such as boiler, electricity, wasted water treatment, etc.

- Expert knowledge in mechanical area and good understanding in Civil/Construction area

- High competence in project related drawing and documents including Flowsheet, P&ID, Civil, Architectural, Piping, etc.

- Competent in using Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Power Point, Project), AutoCAD, and Minitab etc.
