Job Description Summary
The Director will play a key role in developing brand strategy and new products as well as maintaining existing items. The Director will be expected to manage, develop, and implement product portfolios, innovation pipelines, and product marketing strategies. They will be responsible for working cross-functionally alongside other departments, such as the Marketing, Creative, and Sales departments, in order to manage suppliers and collaborate with the aforementioned departments on applicable projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required / MBA a plus
- At least seven (7) years of corporate experience in the beauty industry
- Experience in managing the launch process from beginning to end and developing product briefs
- Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment with a sense of urgency
- Strong understanding and passion for the beauty/fashion category, culture, and seasonal trends.
- Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills. Assertiveness, flexibility, and adaptability
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and personality
- Proficiency in Korean and English required
