Job Description.
We are currently looking for a native Korean full-time Editor to fill an in-house position in our office in Seoul, South Korea. The successful candidate will be in charge of reviewing, editing and proofreading translations of video game titles while respecting production schedules and quality expectations. The candidate will be working alongside an in-house team of translators and coordinators on various projects for all platforms, including titles from very prestigious clients.



Requirements:

Proofreading video-game related translations.
Translating & editing video-game related content..
Updating linguistic assets (glossary, guides, etc.)/ Providing feedback to translators.
Provides assistance to partners as language or translation lead on projects.
Improve and ensure overall quality of linguists and translators.
Assist to discover talented translators in the industry.
Controlling quality and compliance with guidelines and reference material.
Training other team members on processes/cultural aspects.
Providing input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes


YOUR PROFILE
At least 1 year experience translating/proofreading game translation from English ? Korean.
Native fluency in target language Korean, spoken and written.
Fluency in source language English, spoken and written.
Be able to work in a tight deadline and independently.
Experience with CAT tools (MemoQ, CTE, TMS).
Good communication skills.
