As a Service Project Specialist for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Cheonan, South Korea, you will be responsible for conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning & Controls Manager.
Reporting to the Local Customer Service manager, you will be responsible for preparing materials for projects and assisting in project reviews. The position is based in Cheonan, South Korea.
Your responsibilities
- Updating project (cost) adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller, in SAP or other Project Controls systems
- Monitoring, controlling and releasing requests for invoicing, based on instructions from the Project Manager
- Communicating appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
- Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer
- Working with the customer to expand the scope of the project and ensure that after project services are recommended
- Reviewing project plans and ensure that site safety concerns are identified and addressed prior to commencement of the project
- Reviewing project and identifying PPE required to safely complete the job
Your background
- Degree in Electrical, Software, Automation related Engineering Discipline or any equivalent
- 15+ years of engineering or service experience on paint system relevant business
- Professional understanding of ABB paint robot, painting equipment, and comprehensive understanding of PLC is desirable
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Intermediate level in verbal and written English
- The ability to deal with people and a positive and flexible attitude
