Product Revision - work with cross-functional teams and group office to develop new products and revise existing products that meet the needs of the target market - establish appropriate pricing for existing /new products based on actuarial analyses and market research - communicate complex actuarial concepts and results to non-actuarial stakeholders within the company, including senior management, sales teams, and operations 2. Product Management - oversee the ongoing performance of existing products and make recommendations
for changes or updates as necessary - assess and manage risks associated with products including mortality risk, interest rate risk, and other financial risks - analyze and report on the financial performance of products to senior management 3. Team Management - lead and develop a team of actuarial professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to help them achieve their goals and grow their careers 4. Regulatory Compliance - ensure that all products comply with relevant laws and regulations especially in terms of pricing and benefit structures
