MISSION

  • Represents DOTI (DOTI : Digital Transformation & Information System Operational Direction)at Country level and manages all IS/IT suppliers, is in charge of satisfying the commitment made by DOTI to local business entities.
  • Play a key role to support BSS (Business Systems Support) operations at country level (value flow/physical flow/Request).
  • Breaks down DOTI strategic orientations into local progress plans.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

General IS/IT Management

  • Manage and responsible of IT services and operations for Korea.
  • Responsible for planning, budgeting, implementation, maintenance, and upgrading function for the countries infrastructure to comply with the availability, quality, security and cost levels that DOTI is committed to provide.
  • Facilitates relations between DOTI Central Services and local teams.
  • Collaborates with PMs to ensure vendor partners are effectively managed and contracts are fully leveraged, resulting in effective cost management for IS/IT projects and policies deployment in countries.
  • Manage third party partners to ensure they meet contractual obligations, leading to successful delivery of the project and IT services in Korea.

Security Management

  • Manage and develop IT Security Programs in the domain including physical office security.

Business Support Management

  • To escalate IS/IT application issue to central support team.
  • Assist internal business user by providing infra technical, business systems/process consulting, and innovative proposal per request.
  • Being single point of contact to support country ERP system (BSC) and support end users in their day to day activities (L1).
  • Identify as early as possible crisis and activate the regional war room.
  • Analysis the issues recurrencies.
  • Escalate to L2 when unable to solve autonomously (Regional Lifecycle Leader, Engineering L2, IT L2)
  • Identify and formalize country demands, align priorities at country level, and animate routine with country.
  • Train local users on new features and process/tool ​​improvements via Ongoing training (in connection with production ramp-ups).
  • Execute non regression tests and perform ongoing training for end users.

Digital Transformation

  • Identify useful digital tools(Various O365 Apps, etc.) and promote digital culture in the country.

QUALIFICATION

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other engineering field.
  • 6-10 years of working experience in IT domain (Preferred Business IT experience)
  • Good command of English (fluent) & Korean (native)
  • Experience on project management and change management
  • ITIL or PMP certificate is a plus
