Overview
The Small, Medium, and Corporate team helps businesses achieve their digital transformation and business goals by helping customers with Microsoft solutions and partners. Located in either a Digital Sales center, or a local subsidiary, you will help our managed and scale customers across industries, company sizes and territories to identify their needs and opportunities using the latest in digital selling technology including big data and analytics. One of the fastest growing customer segments in the industry, you will help customers realize value from the Microsoft Cloud across customer solution areas like Modern Work, Security, Business Applications, Infrastructure, Data and AI, and Application Innovation.
Qualifications

However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
• BS, MS, or PhD degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science / related field (or an additional 4 years¡¯ experience in lieu of degree) is preferred.
Language proficiency in English and Korean is required.
• Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• Deep domain expertise in one of the Data-specific areas, such as SQL Server, deployments and migrations to the cloud, Open-source database deployments and migrations, Cloud Scale Analytics, Data Governance, etc. OR hands-on experience working with the respective products at the expert level
• Working knowledge of Azure and/or competitive cloud technologies
• You have related experience in technical pre and post sales/technical consulting/architecture, with a broad knowledge of consultative technical sales, deployment projects, architecture, design and implementation across data and analytics technologies.
• You have validated experience in consultative technical selling approach, including bringing innovative ideas to customers problems and being customer focused.
• You are success-driven, work well in a diverse team and enjoy a dynamic and changing environment.

The Impact You'll Be Making
Lead technical discussions with customers, using consultative sales methodology and technical expertise to understand their needs and demonstrate how Microsoft solutions can address them.
Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying and addressing customer pain points with solutions and business cases.
Share customer insights and best practices with Engineering to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.
Develop a technical strategy that maps the customer's vision, resolves concerns, prevents and removes technical blockers, and validates a strong business case for investment.
Conduct technical assessments to create a map of the current landscape and build technical migration and modernization plans.
Identify new opportunities within customer engagement.
Maintain and grow expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and AI technologies, while keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights.
¡¤Scale through partners by acting as a liaison between the partner and account team, facilitating partner resources and processes, and supporting partner technical capacity by identifying skill and resource gaps. Develop customer technical skilling plan in collaboration with customer and account team.
