Sales Engineer - Analytical products

You will be accountable for sales & product engineering of analytical products in semiconductor & display, chemical, R&D lab industry, driving sales volumes and margins for Process Automation Business Area in Seoul, South Korea.

This position reports to

Sales Team Manager

Your responsibilities

• Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
• Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
• Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
• Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Material, electronics engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in sales and/or engineering
• Sound knowledge of Analytical product (FT-IR, laser spectroscopy, GC, other Gas analyzer) and sampling system with experience of application engineering
• A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
• Fluency in both English and Korean
