Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned strategic accounts and categories while respecting the image of the adidas brand.
Key Responsibilities: (to be performed in alignment with global guidelines):
- To develop objectives and action plans for the assigned accounts that build develop the account network and deliver the required financial results.
- Develops the annual sales plan, account fact book, account marketing plan for the next 3 years and implement channel strategy.
- Understands sales policies, strategies, terms and condition to expand accounts business according to the company's direction. (store opening, closing and up-grading, etc.)
- Manages and executes a sales plan for respective accounts in the market.
- Forecasts of respective accounts' assortment plan by season.
- Reports market situation, condition, needs and changes to the respective team head periodically.
- Sales target responsibility & Managing A/R.
- Executes and follows up on pre-order and shipping plan.
- To manage strategically important key accounts within team
- To participate or lead in sales project and task force teams for specific sales initiatives that improve current sales practices to achieve the overall sales goals.
Key relationship:
- Global: Centre of Excellence (CoE) Wholesale
- Market: Brands, Customer Service, Business Development, Controlling, Planning, Logistics.
- External: Customers, Agencies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken local language as well as English. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business with marketing and sales focus
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within large sales organizations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
- Exposure: Sports, Marketing and Fashion
- IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills
