PFG Sales Manager – Process Filtration Group
Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining/increasing
sales volume and margin with existing and new accounts within Process
Filtration Business (OEM / Distribuion channels). Accountable for executing
assigned sales goals and sales plans within designated customers and/or within
a designated sales territory. Actively support the corporation's Win Strategy.
Proactively works with divisional management and related support departments to
ensure on time customer service needs are met or exceeded. Represents company
at trade shows and other professional activities.
Responsibilities
l Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM /
Distribution customers.
l Ensures Parker Filtration products are specified to maintain and
increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account
basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.
l Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of PFG group/
KFD divisional products, applications, features, advantages, and benefits.
Keeps up with internal and external training and development.
l Obtain specifications and approvals at engineering firms, major
accounts.
l Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products
and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports, on a regular and/or
monthly basis.
l Participates in the development and implementation of appropriate
response strategies.
l Assist the divisions in planning strategy to provide the products
and service required for their assigned accounts.
l Provide product training at the customer levels.
l Assist in the conversion of competitive accounts to Parker.
Scope/Supervision & Interaction
l Works with direct customers, and field sales for filter division
products.
l Basic business analysis: Sales analysis, Promotion analysis, Project¡¯s review
l Basic research analysis: Latest trend analysis, Competitor products
and price analysis
l Customer understanding: Focus on customer needs such as new
products, problem and so on
l Marketing plan development: Annual and long-term marketing plan, New
products launch, Create new marketplace
Qualifications:
l Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or
Engineering.
l 10+ years of work experience in sales and 3+ years in technical
sales in Biotech/Biopharm Development / Manufacturing marketplace.
l Must have process selling experience in Bio-pharmaceuticals
Industry.
l Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
l Computer skills including Microsoft Office
l Must be able to travel overnight as required
l Applicable product and system certification preferred
l Must have proven track record of performing or exceeding performance
level. Four-year college degree with material engineering major preferred or
equivalent experience.
