DuPont Electronics & Industrial is seeking a "Process Engineer" (fresh graduate) in Cheonan, Korea.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide daily technical support and leadership for operations, assisting in troubleshooting process equipment.

  • Measure, track, communicate and improve key operating metrics.

  • Develop and maintain Operating Discipline documentation

  • Participate in plant teams and lead organizational and cultural change efforts.

  • Manage process control systems to produce high-quality products at the lowest cost, exceeding environmental, health and safety standards.  

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and determine root causes

  • Drive continuous process and performance improvements, including SPC chart review and variation reduction.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance capacity and yield.  

  • Track and report yield scrap, driving improvements.

  • Maintain and update manufacturing SOPs

  • Support safety education and policy adherence.

  • Apply plant and technology knowledge, consulting with experts and studying historical data.

  • Partner with the experts to perform advanced troubleshooting and improve operating discipline.  Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses in the facility.

  • Understand why specific procedure steps and precautions are needed and keep a strong field presence to reinforce the importance.  

  • Conduct daily review of logbook and alarm history to better understand the plant operation and stay engaged with daily activities.  Maintain, own, and review daily KPIs/ trends to ensure optimum performance.

  • Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies.   Act as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.
