A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Assoc Buyer/Planner at MKS Korea, you will partner with Engineering, Internal Teams and Buyers to usually create Purchase Order and proceed customs of import/export. In this role, you will report to the Purchasing Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Responsible for obtaining materials, components and equipment.
Gathers quotations, examines bids, and makes awards.
Determines material requirements form engineering and production schedules, and maintains inventory at planned levels.
Plans, schedules and monitors for the movement of materials through the production cycle.
Evaluates vendor reliability, develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.
Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
Skills that You Bring:
Bachelor¡¯s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills:
CPSM and/or APICS certification is preferred.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle is preferred.
Good command in English is a plus.
