Grow the company's air and ocean freight business/services, in accordance with the sales strategy Serve as the main sales contact point for assigned customers. Find, develop and qualify leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers Maintain a sales pipeline to achieve agreed growth targets Manage customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals Drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability Build relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including presentations to the customers and representation at industry events. Incorporate the daily use of the Global CRM platform to document sales activity and relevant customer business details.
Major Accountabilities Business Development
Research market and new opportunities, especially in air and ocean freight business. Develop, update and manage pipeline, screen and prioritize opportunities Collaborate closely with In-country Logistics, Global Business Development, Central Agency Development, and other country teams, other business units, and overseas agents to build pipeline and win new businesses.
Participate in regional and local RFP/RFQ Prospect targets, identify customer needs, collect data Develop solution and pricing Negotiate and close deals Establish working rapport and trust with new customers Plan, coordinate and supervise implementation Collection of market information Support the Freight Forwarding Manager with Market information Participate Training program & Seminars to follow the changed market situation
