▷ Responsibilities
- Based on the instructions and directions from Technical Director, Cover Materials, implement and execute technical activities related to thin and ultra-thin glass Product Groups in the business field of Special Flat Glass & Wafer.
- Work closely with local sales and provide daily technical support to customers regarding technical issues and quality complaints related to thin glasses products of display cover glass.
- Act as part-time on-site engineer at glass processors and customers, e.g. Korea, Vietnam, China or others.
- Coordinate and/or follow up with different technical centers and production sites for relevant internal and external lab measurements and testing, as well as sample preparation.
- Develop technical competence and knowledge in the field of thin and ultra-thin glass processing and analytics to enable fast reaction to the internal and external customer requirements.
- Prepare structured and consolidated reports for key customer activities, and presentations for relevant projects, with high quality standard and time measures.
- Strictly follow company policy and take personal responsibility and measures.

▷ Qualifications 

- Ph.D., Master, or Bachelor degree in Materials, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering 

- Characterization and analysis skills for inorganic materials 

- Preferably with knowledge of technical glass and its applications 

- Preferably with experience in the area of consumer electronics and display application 

- Problem solving capability in a dynamic environment 

- Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills 

- Self-motivated with good organization skills 

- Fluent in English and Korean both verbally and in written communication.
