The Impact You¡¯ll Make
As a Field Service Engineer/ Application Engineer at PVA TePla Korea, you will step into the limelight of customer support. Your work goes beyond installations and troubleshooting; it ensures the operational excellence of our complex semiconductor equipment. You're on the front lines, understanding customer needs and collaborating with various teams to deliver solutions.

What you will do

We are looking for a self-starter Field Service Engineers/ Application Engineers to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

• Provide service and customer support during field visits
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Application & technical solution support
• Carrying out measurements of customer samples
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and presentation of measurement reports
• Follow all company¡¯s filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Commination window between the Customer & Headquarter to solve issue.

Who we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical degree/Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience; or
• Bachelor¡¯s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience; or Master¡¯s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent work experience
• Experiences with semiconductor manufacturing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot : problem diagnostic, analysis and solving within strict timescales & deadlines)
• Fluent in English and Good command of Korean
• Able to produce timely and detailed service reports and presentation of reports
• Able to work in a clean room environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment, or cleanroom suit.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
• Able to travel frequently, domestically and internationally, based on customer needs, flexibility to work a variety shifts including compressed and alternative workweeks including overtime and on-call if needed.
• Leadership and Loyalty for work task and organization

Preferred Qualifications
• We will give preferential treatment to the SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscope) related MS/PhD or the semiconductor industry experiences applicants.
• Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. German language knowledge is an advantage.
• Foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.
