DuPont Electronics & Industrial is seeking a talented Technical Service and Development (TS&D) Specialist for Kalrez¢ç specialty parts. This is an exciting and challenging position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies that provide reliable and effective sealing solutions. The role requires you to work with international companies in the semiconductor, chemical processing, oil and gas/renewable energy sectors. You will oversee and drive key development projects with local commercial team members in Korea to accelerate the growth of Korea's business.
Job Responsibilities
You will identify and win opportunities by working closely with customers to develop effective solutions and qualify new products based on specific application requirements.
You will coordinate new product commercialization, ensuring an effective mechanism is in place to feedback regional needs to marketing and R&D, enabling the positioning of Kalrez¢ç as the most preferred sealing solution in the market and drive sustainable business growth for the region.
Other responsibilities include the following:
Providing technical service and development support for customers to drive business growth.
Fully owning the development project from conception to implementation and commercialization by working closely with the sales team.
Developing and owning the relationship with the key engineers/end-users in strategic accounts to establish Kalrez¢ç position as the most preferred and most advanced sealing solution and technologies.
Collecting and evaluating competitive products to benchmark with Kalrez¢ç position, and feedback to sales team to establish Kalrez¢ç value propositions and effective competitive strategies over competitors.
Performing testing evaluation in laboratory environment and generating technical data according to the customer/market needs.
Conducting technical presentations/seminars at customer/partner meetings, technical conferences, and distributor trainings to promote Kalrez¢ç application as needed.
Participating in various institute and industry association conferences to connect with technical resource.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Chemistry/Material Science/Chemical Engineering or related science background is required. Master¡¯s candidates are encouraged to apply.
A minimum of 5-year work experience as technical engineer is required. The candidate must have experience working with external customers.
Highly motivated and self-directed individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels in the organization. Demonstrated ability to understand and define customer needs, and drive new product/application development to meet customer needs.
Strong background in problem solving, using multiple analytical procedures to identify and characterize product development barriers.
Demonstrate broad technical interests for diversified market and applications including semiconductor and industrials.
Demonstrated ability to make clear, persuasive, concise, and well-organized oral presentations. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to team members and management on all aspects of program activity. Excellent English communication skills.
Must be able to work well in teams and to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to travel in Korea and other countries (at least 50%)
Compliant with safety guidelines, business ethics and internal control processes
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience as a technical engineer in semiconductor fabs, especially in DRAAM or 3D NAND.
Also the experience with polymer or rubber technology will be an asset.
Demonstrated results in a customer-facing technical role and the ability to identify and drive new customer opportunities, as well as leading cross-functional teams to handle various projects and key customer relationships.
The candidate should have a proven record of accomplishments, including developing new products and launching new products, patents, publications, and/or novel product claims. They must be creative, innovative, and solution-driven, with a passion for exploring new ideas and technologies.
