We are looking for Finance Assistant at MDPI KOREA. The position is based in the beautiful city of Seoul, South Korea.

Finance Assistant

[´ã´ç¾÷¹«]

- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including expense forecasting and preparing cost reports.
- Support the preparation of financial documents and monthly reports for review by the Basel Finance team and the Representative Director, Korea.
- Manage monthly office expense files by reconciliation with local accounting systems.
- Support internal / external audit process.
- Support International / Domestic finance and operations.
- Support preparation of monthly & Year-end closing.
- Provide administrative support to the office and monthly expenses accounting.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any discrepancies in financial requests.
Maintain good communication with the local team and the Representative Director, Korea about financial information, including monitoring and reporting relevant changes in tax regulations, cross-checking financial documents before submission, and exchanging other general financial information.

Maintain good communication with external agencies about consumption tax, tax returns, and other relevant issues.

- Bachelor¡¯s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- At least 1 (3 in case of Specialist) year of experience in finance or fund accounting roles.

- Basic understanding of financial principles and practices, with experience in  financial record-keeping and reporting.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to review financial data and identify discrepancies.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail.

- Proficiency in English and local language.

- Must be a Korean citizen and native  in Korea.

- Execute ad-hoc Finance tasks assigned by the Basel Finance team and Representative Director, MDPI Korea.
