The Customer Service and
Logistics Coordinator, South Korea is responsible for overseeing service spare parts
operation and providing frontline logistics support to the customers in South
Korea. The primary role includes ensuring timely and successful completion of
the spare parts order processing, delivery and transactions, supervising 3PL
performance, inventory management, and proactively intervening to manage and
resolve any issues with customers¡¯ orders.
Working closely with Manager,
Customer Service and Logistics, China and South Korea and Senior Manager,
Customer Service Operation & Supply Chain, Asia Pacific Region, this
position will support a one team approach to customer support, ensuring high
quality service to the internal and external customers. The work location is in
South Korea.
Reporting to: Manager, Customer Service and Logistics, China and
South Korea
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Logistics Customer
Support:
- Act as the main point of contact for
customers and Field Service Engineers in South Korea for any service spare
parts orders and logistics related requests and issues.
- Follow up on customers critical orders
to ensure timely delivery.
- Interface with various internal groups
(Technical Support, Suppliers, Manufacturing, Sales Operations, US
Shipping team, IT etc.) to meet the customer¡¯s requests or find solution
to the issues they report.
- Key contact with 3PL and other
logistics/transportation partners; supervise/monitor 3PL performance
- Follow up with Suppliers on South
Korea customers¡¯ Backorders as request as required
- Responsible for
opening/updating/closing South Korea Distributor¡¯s part only Work Order,
Part Requests and returns (RMA)
- Monitoring WO, PRQ and RMA created by
South Korea ServiceMax portal users.
- Coordinate with other **** Logistics teams to prepare import/export shipping documents required by
customers in South Korea
- Actively review and update backorder
SmartSheet, source from other **** warehouses if required
- Trigger escalation processes as
required both internally and externally
- Follow up with distributors/FSE on
their aging open RMA to ensure timely return.
- Assist Customer Service and Logistics
Manager with various China and rest APAC supply chain & logistics
projects
ServiceMax Support
- Act as a Super user and ServiceMax
representative in South Korea. Assist South Korea CS team and distributors
with their ServiceMax related inquiries.
- Follow up on Parts Requests and
ServiceMax related escalations reported through the South Korea escalation
tool. Investigate and close each escalation within the target timeline.
- Provide ServiceMax training to new
distributor portal users on parts and Inventory management processes.
- Organize Super User forums for South
Korea ServiceMax and Portal users to ensure users in South Korea are aware
of the latest ServiceMax functionalities and processes.
Inventory Management
- Investigate and correct transaction
errors and inventory discrepancies in SAP
- Assist with FSE and warehouses cycle
count process. Participate any Variance analysis in accordance with the
internal SOP
- Participate routine inventory reviews
for obsolescence exposure and disposition, and support annual 3PL
warehouse audits as needed
Others
- Active participation in SAP project,
be an SAP super-user
- Serve as backup to APAC Service
logistics team members in HK and China
- Participate actively to any
¡°Continuous Improvement¡± projects internally
- Create good visibility in South Korea
Logistics operation to the global team
- Contribute/participate to other ad hoc
duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES :
- Associated Degree required, Bachelor¡¯s
degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in
International Logistics (including order follow-up, import/export and
inventory control), working with global 3PL, and customer¡¯s support
- Experience in healthcare industry
(medical equipment/device) highly preferred
- Must have strong written and oral
communication skills in both English and Cantonese (Mandarin an advantage)
- Mastering MS Office Tools and
Experienced with ERP Systems (SAP preferred)
- Good excel skills and ability to
manipulate different data information from various databases and/or data
sources
- Demonstrated ability to multitask with
a high level of initiative and motivation
- Problem solving skills, attention to
details required, an attitude to follow through outstanding issues and a
passion to improve
- Must be self-motivated with a strong
work ethic
- Strong End Customer oriented mindset
- Commitment to high standards of
excellence and integrity
- Flexibility to work at after hours to
