DuPont Electronics & Industrial – Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technology (ACST) is looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our team in Korea. This role is ideal for middle career engineers or chemists who are eager to apply their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in semiconductor technology development.
You will work on scaling up products from lab to high-volume manufacturing, developing innovative processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards for advanced semiconductor materials.

Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize product and process technologies from laboratory scale to high-volume manufacturing.
Conduct lab experiments, analyze data, and document findings to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems, develop improvement plans, and conduct root cause analysis.
Lead process validation and scale-up of raw materials for semiconductor applications.
Utilize advanced analytical techniques such as DOE (Design of Experiments) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to improve product quality.
Engage with customers to understand market trends and align development efforts with business needs.
Ensure compliance with EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor¡¯s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
Thorough understanding organic/inorganic/polymer chemistry and chemical engineering
Thorough understanding metal reduction using ion exchange resin
5+years of hands-on experience in chemical processes, materials development, or related fields
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) for collaboration across teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques (GC, LC, GPC, NMR, IR)
Understanding of mass transport phenomena is a plus
Experience in semiconductor, electronic materials, or chemical industries is an advantage but not required.
