Overview
As an Account Technology Strategist focused on the Education Kindergarten to Year 12, you will have the opportunity to design and drive leading-edge technology initiatives in partnership education institutions. Your work will support your customers¡¯ desired learning and operational outcomes while achieving Microsoft¡¯s strategic objectives in the education space.
Paired with an Account Executive, and leveraging your large, multi-functional virtual team across the Microsoft product portfolio and partner ecosystem, you will build and grow your network of education technology executives. You will bring industry-relevant solutions to help schools and education departments adopt and embrace AI technologies. With a proven history of innovating technical solutions to achieve customer outcomes and account growth, this role enables you to combine your technology and education sector knowledge to accelerate your customers¡¯ AI vision and become their trusted technology advisor.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience
- Proven ability to articulate and apply these capabilities to address the unique challenges faced by Education (K–12), Public Sector and/or Nonprofit organisation through partner-led engagements
- Business-level proficiency in Korean AND English languages, including written and verbal fluency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience
- 6+ years experience in the education sector or working with public sector customers
- 6+ years experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer outcomes in learning environments
- Ideally with basic business proficiency in additional languages like Mandarin or Japanese

Responsibilities
- Education AI and Security Strategy Leadership– Document and articulate the customer¡¯s educational goals, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy, aligned to student outcomes and institutional priorities.
- Technology-Relevant Trusted Seller– Drive Microsoft business growth in the education sector, including partner co-sell motions and governance around cloud consumption and intent to use.
- Technology Leadership Across Solution Areas– Lead AI (including data and migration) and Security conversations across education stakeholders, showcasing how they align to school and department priorities.
- Education Industry Knowledge– Apply expertise in education systems, technology platforms, and policy to build AI strategies aligned to learning outcomes. Challenge assumptions with constructive dialogue about pedagogy, digital equity, and innovation.
- Apply deep or broad expertise to inform the development of the right Education Sales Kits and identify relevant education partners.
- Understand education-specific market trends, including digital inclusion, student safety, and hybrid learning, and how these influence opportunities and barriers to growth.
