Key Tasks of the Job:
- Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, source, and procure key food categories, including Produce, Potatoes, Dairy, Frying Oil, and Beverages, while ensuring optimization of both cost and quality.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and expectations.
- Market Research & Industry Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and stay updated on industry trends to uncover new sourcing opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Sourcing Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sourcing strategies that drive long-term efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement in procurement operations.
- Procurement Compliance: Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong expertise in direct sourcing and procurement processes.
- Proven track record of driving cost savings and ensuring supply continuity.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Solid understanding of financial and cost management within supply chain operations.
