This role requires relocation to Japan. We are currently seeking a Modernization Sales professional for Otis-manufactured elevators and escalators essential infrastructure that supports urban life. Otis not only manufactures and sells elevators, but also places great importance on the maintenance and modernization services provided after installation.
Leveraging our long history and accumulated technical expertise, the Modernization Sales role involves proposing Otis modernization solutions at appropriate pricing so that customers can continue to use their elevators and escalators safely and with peace of mind. This position contributes to revenue growth through three key areas of responsibility: maintaining the existing portfolio, acquiring new business, and selling modernization and repair services as needed.
Key Responsibilities: - Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and manage the elevator portfolio - Serve as the main point of contact to resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner - Develop sales channels for repair and modernization projects through networking and bidding activities - Formulate independent sales strategies to achieve sales targets while ensuring profitability - Effectively track opportunities and pipelines and forecast sales performance using company sales tools - Conduct sales negotiations, close deals, and ensure strict adherence to payment deadlines - Collaborate with team members, including other sales representatives and on-site colleagues

- High school diploma or higher - Experience in sales of technical products requiring consultative selling - Strong customer- and service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills - High level of commitment and reliability, with a strong motivation to achieve results - Able to work in a results-driven environment while maintaining momentum within a large corporate organization
