Technical Sales and Support Engineer

Primary Responsibilities
Technical & Applications Support
-Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers on post-CMP cleaning solutions across all wafer manufacturing applications (FEOL/MEOL/BEOL)
-Lead on-site troubleshooting at customer sites for defectivity, cleaning performance, brush break-in, material interactions, and process optimization
-Support and track new brush qualifications and evaluations, to include delivering monthly status reports to global technical leadership
-Translate Korean technical findings and process feedback into clear English documentation for U.S. engineering and product teams
-Deliver customer and distributor technical training (on-site or virtual) and support quarterly U.S.-led technical review sessions

Capital Equipment - Cyclone Break-In System
-Own technical support for the Cyclone equipment including break-in recipe recommendations, setup, and process optimization
-Perform first-level troubleshooting (hardware & software), escalating to field service or HQ teams as needed
-Collaborate with technical service team on installations, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and spare parts planning

Distributor, Sales Engineering & Market Intelligence
-Support Korea sales distributor channel partner in meeting coordination, technical discussions, and evaluation planning
-Provide structured competitive analysis for local and global PVA brush suppliers (technical performance, pricing levels, new product releases)
-Capture and communicate Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to support product development and roadmap prioritization
-Maintain technical documentation including evaluation trackers, defect summaries, corrective actions, and field service logs

[ÀÚ°Ý¿ä°Ç]
5-10 years professional experience with CMP and/or pCMP cleaning
Bachelor¡¯s degree in relevant technical field of study; an advanced technical degree and / or MBA is preferred.
¿ì¼öÇÑ ¿µ¾î ½Ç·Â Çʼö (Speaking, Reading, Writing)

Required:
-Bachelor¡¯s degree in relevant technical field of study or a technical degree
: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of desired educational background
-5-10 years professional experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in a technical capacity such as service engineer, process engineer, equipment engineer, or similar roles
-Experience interacting with fabs (Samsung, SK Hynix, foundry/subcons, etc.)
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
-Demonstrated superior level customer relationship skills
-Strong leadership and team building skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tools such as Salesforce
-Comfortable with ambiguous situations and communicating directly with end-users and distributors to clarify needs/requirements and set technical/business direction
-Proficient with data analysis, technical report writing, and presentation skills
-Knowledge of advanced logic, memory, and/or packaging device technologies, requirements, and challenges.
-Results oriented self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize key objectives

Desired but not required:
-MBA Degree
-Experience with PVA brush suppliers, CMP cleaning modules, brush boxes, or post-CMP cleaning chemistries, with a solid understanding of wafer defect mechanisms and fundamentals
-Background in CMP or specialty cleaning equipment (Process Engineer, FAE, or Applications Engineer)
-Basic capital equipment troubleshooting: PLC/HMI, pneumatics, software interfaces
-Familiarity with semiconductor defect analysis tools (SPC, KLA, Surfscan, optical inspection)
-Experience gathering competitive and Voice of Customer insights for product development
-Ability to support cross-cultural engineering teams in the U.S., Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan
-Marketing management experience with strong business acumen and familiarity with business finances

Work Conditions:
-Willingness to work on-site at local fab sites 3 ~4 days per week.
-Out-of-town domestic and international travel required 10-15% of the time.
-Chemical processing areas, cleanrooms, laboratories, customer manufacturing facilities, and standard business environment.
